What is the JETS Program?
The JETS (Junior Encouragement & Talent Squad) program is the official Little Athletics NSW development program for dual age group athletes. It aims to recognise, reward and foster emerging talent in the sport. The program gives athletes up to the Under 17 age group (minimum age U12) the opportunity to develop their skills, knowledge and performances to a higher level in an enjoyable social environment.

What does the program offer?
The program provides access to “members-only” coaching clinics and a live-in weekend performance camp, as well as exclusive information, education, discounts and an ever-expanding range of benefits.

Who is eligible?
Any athletes who are in the U12 to U17 age groups who achieve the qualifying standards and agree to the conditions of membership may apply to become a member of the squad.

2014-15 JETS Ambassador
The 2014-15 JETS Ambassador is Discus Champion Dani Samuels. Dani is a former Little Athlete whose many achievements include: 2014 Commonwealth Games Gold Medal, 2009 World Championships Gold Medal, 2006 World Junior Championships Gold Medal, 2005 World Youth Championships Gold Medal. Dani’s involvement will see her contribute an article to the monthly JETS newsletter and attend a JETS Coaching Clinic.
